“Without awareness, there is no choice.”
John F. Barnes
In October 2014, on Rockaway Beach, Oregon, Via married John Anderson, an artist, inventor, musician and all around nice guy, who tolerates her tendency to move in unexpected ways in unexpected places. They live 6 months in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, MX and 6 months in Newberg, OR, USA.
Meet Via Anderson
Via is a 74 year old grandmother with a pacemaker who embodies intelligent movement for herself and helps others do the same. She believes that moving intelligently is the elixir of healthy living.
Via is the founder of Intelligent Movement Forever, whose mission is to help you unlock your intelligent, pain-free movement for better performance and health longevity.
Via uses her unique blend of yoga and movement training and skills to help her clients discover their own movement patterns and learn how to move purely, without compensation and without pain. Inspired and informed by modern-day yoga and movement heroes, Via is equipped to work with athletes, seniors, persons with injuries, and persons who have (until now) resisted movement, helping them to erase pain, perform better, and live better in their bodies. She taught her first Yoga class in 2002 and has been gathering tools for intelligent movement, including Yoga Tune Up®, BASI Pilates, Ki-Hara Resistance Stretching, and Functional Synergy for herself and her students and clients ever since. In December of 2015, she completed Susi Hately’s 7-day Functional Synergy training, “Kinesiology of Yoga & Therapeutic Yoga Intensive” in Puerto Vallarta, MX.
Via teaches Intelligent Movement Forever in private sessions, in person and online, and in local classes, workshops, and special events. She can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org, www.IntelligentMovementForever.com or 971 708 9261 (US).
